What is Pet Acupuncture?

Just like in human acupuncture, there are specific points on an animal's body that are believed to correspond to various organs and systems. These points are often located along meridians, which are pathways through which vital energy, known as "qi" or "chi," is believed to flow.

Acupuncture involves the use of thin, sterile needles, typically made of stainless steel or other materials. These needles are inserted into the acupuncture points to varying depths, depending on the condition being treated.

Once the needles are in place, they may be manipulated by hand or with the help of electrical stimulation to promote the flow of qi, relieve blockages, and encourage the body's natural healing processes.
